When you register or use RDU Sports & Recreation services, we collect personal information including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, mailing address, emergency contact information, and t-shirt size. We also collect profile information such as a bio, profile photo, and social media links if you choose to provide them.

When you make a payment, your payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is collected solely to facilitate league operations, including:

• Managing your membership and game registrations
• Sending schedule updates, score reports, and administrative notices
• Processing payments and managing billing
• Contacting your emergency contact in the event of an injury
• Sending optional marketing emails if you have opted in
• Improving our services and website experience

3. Media Release

By registering, you grant RDU Sports and Recreation, LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (the "Organization") the irrevocable, perpetual, and worldwide right and permission to photograph, record, and otherwise capture your name, image, likeness, voice, statements, and appearance ("Media").

The Organization may use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, modify, and otherwise use the Media, in whole or in part, in any format or medium now known or later developed, including but not limited to social media platforms, the Organization's website, promotional materials, advertisements, newsletters, email communications, and press coverage, for lawful promotional, marketing, educational, or informational purposes. No compensation will be provided and the Organization shall own all rights, title, and interest in the Media.

You release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organization from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to the creation or use of the Media, including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, defamation, misappropriation of likeness, right of publicity, or emotional distress.

Revocation of this consent must be made in writing to support@rdusportsrec.com and will apply only to future use; previously produced or published materials are not required to be removed.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• MongoDB Atlas — secure database storage
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudinary — profile image storage
• Twilio — optional SMS notifications
• Vercel — website hosting
• Google Maps — location services

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@rdusportsrec.com.
